ECLAS Africa Church Leadership Conference | Church Orthodoxy in the Age of Science / PAC UNIVERSITY

The ECLAS Africa Church Leadership Conference, held at Pan-African University under the theme “Church Orthodoxy and Pragmatic Responses to Emerging Issues in the Age of Science,” provided a significant platform for church leaders, theologians and scientists to reflect on how the Church can faithfully engage with rapidly changing scientific and societal realities. Discussions explored key emerging issues including Artificial Intelligence, climate change, raising the boy child in the age of science, biotechnology and biomedical engineering, miracles, signs and wonders, and indigenous knowledge. The conference encouraged thoughtful dialogue between Christian faith and scientific advancement, emphasizing the need for church leadership that remains grounded in orthodoxy while developing practical, informed and contextually relevant responses to the complex challenges facing communities today.
